We have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of my parents since they booked their tickets and finally the time has come! I get up at 6am and pick them up from the airport.
I watched through the glass walls as they walked into the arrival area! They gathered all of their luggage and finally came through! SO GREAT to see them!!!
They had a pretty good flight, Singapore Air is always amazing…considering you are on the plane for 18 hours straight!
I got them home and they saw Madison and our apartment and met Josefina. I got to stay for about 20 minutes before I had to get to work.
Since their arrival we have had a great time exploring Singapore! We have been to China Town, the Night Safari, down to Orchard Road to see the Christmas lights and see the shops. We went to Gold Class movies and High tea at the Shangri La. We went up to the 71st floor of a building to have drinks and admire the city lights, then to Raffles to have a Singapore Sling. We took a boat ride down to Clarke Quay and had margaritas by the river.
We had a few nights in due to typical Singapore rain, but it did not dampen our spirits. We enjoyed Josefina’s cooking as she was going home for Christmas at the end of the week.

It has been so fun having my parents here. They have loved spending loads of time with Madison and seeing where we live ad work, they even came to school one day.

We are now off to Bali!
